Kesslec has launched an integrated smart pole platform that uses controllable streetlights as a communication link and smart poles as a carrier for smart city management. The platform integrates PM 2.5 environmental sensors, dual-band Wi-Fi access points (802.11ac, 1200 Mbps), Full HD surveillance cameras with 30X optical zoom and facial detection, LED information displays (5500 cd/m² brightness), SOS emergency buttons with GPS location, and EV charging stations with payment integration. The smart streetlight controllers feature IPv6 addressing, NEMA compliance, and Advanced Encryption Standard security, supporting radio frequencies from 868 MHz to 2.4 GHz.
